Welcome - Planted in the Light
Early crocuses flowers
Welcome, I’m so glad you are here!
March 20th - the first day of spring 🌷. It’s the perfect time to start this small ministry. It’s a seed planted in winter soil, quietly covered, waiting for the warmth of sunlight and longer days.
I invite you to join me in strengthening your faith and flourishing through the nourishment God provides as we linger in His presence and His word.
“Those who are planted in the house of the LORD shall flourish…”
~ Psalms 92:13–14
📖 Let’s take a few moments together to slow our breathing, open the Word, and allow His love and truth to do its quiet, faithful work in us.
God’s work in our hearts is often not immediately visible. As we read His word daily and talk with the Lord, the seed planted in our hearts is nourished and begins to form roots. These roots grow downward as we wait quietly in His presence. Much of Christ’s work in our hearts remains unseen during the early stages of growth. God uses the earth, our regular time in His word, the sunshine of waiting in His presence, and the rain of trials to produce growth that blossoms in His perfect timing.
“He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water…” ~ Psalms 1:3
Planted purposefully. Watered and fed by God’s Word. Strength built up by those unseen roots, in our quiet, unhurried, daily abiding with Him. This is how spiritual growth happens, little by little each day.
Fresh and thriving in every season of life, bearing fruit in all circumstances—maturing, budding, blooming, shining. Yes, heat will come. Drought will come. Trials arrive unexpectedly, but we are not afraid when we’re blown in the wind—our roots are firmly anchored in Christ. What is cultivated during our quiet, secret time with the Lord prepares us to stand firm, and our blessed Lord Jesus is faithful to complete what He has started in us.
“I am sure of this, that He who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.”
~ Philippians 1:6
Today, on this first day of Spring, I am planting this seed—this new Christian women’s ministry—with hope. I ask the Lord to open hearts to hear His words. Together, let’s grow deep roots in our Lord Jesus so that we may know Him more deeply, understand the power of His resurrection, and share in the fellowship of His sufferings, ultimately being gently conformed to His image.
