A quiet time is sitting, reading your Bible, praying, and talking with the Lord. It is a gentle pause in your day to be still in His presence.

Jesus, our example, often withdrew to spend time alone with His Father in prayer. These verses invite us into that same quiet place of stillness and waiting before God.

Psalm 46:10: "Be still, and know that I am God".

Psalm 62:5: "For God alone, O my soul, wait in silence, for my hope is from him".

Isaiah 30:15 — In returning and rest you shall be saved; In quietness and confidence shall be your strength.”

Lamentations 3:26 — It is good that one should hope and wait quietly for the salvation of the LORD.

Matthew 14:23 — And when He (Jesus) had sent the multitudes away, He went up on the mountain by Himself to pray.

Luke 6:12 — Now it came to pass in those days that He went out to the mountain to pray, and continued all night in prayer to God.
