Prayer is a quiet conversation with God, where we draw near and He hears.
Psalm 55:17 — Evening and morning and at noon I will pray, and cry aloud, and He shall hear my voice.
Psalm 66:12, 13 — If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear. But certainly God has heard me; he has attended to the voice of my prayer.
Proverbs 15:29 — The LORD… hears the prayer of the righteous.
Luke 6:12 — Now it came to pass in those days that He (Jesus) went out to the mountain to pray, and continued all night in prayer to God.
Acts 2:42 — And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers.
Romans 12:12 — Rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer.
2 Corinthians 1:11 — you also helping together in prayer for us, that thanks may be given by many persons on our behalf
Ephesians 6:18 — Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints.
